UAE-based fashion rental concept eyes GCC expansion

11023439_578213138949112_2756651031074352267_nDesigner-24, the fashion concept that allows customers to rent out new season outfits, is looking to expand across the GCC after reporting “extremely high demand”.

The UAE-based fashion company said it has seen a surge in rentals, and on average has grown 60 percent each month since launching in June 2014.

It said the secret of its success has been offering the latest runway trends for rent, allowing women to wear brand new season dresses for a fraction of the retail price. The company did not give details of which countries it was keen to expand into.

“The Arab world’s love of luxury fashion and heavy events calendar has made Designer-24 the go to place for dresses,” the company said in a statement.
