The UAE ranks first in attracting “minds and talent”, making it a model for other countries, according to a recent study.
The study was conducted by LinkedIn Corporation, an online professional network which features over 300 million professionals.
The US-based network calculated the movement of human resources among countries through its user base.
Dr Saeed Al Hassani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education And Scientific Research, said, “It’s not the first time the country has achieved indicators of this kind, particularly those related to employment and higher education.”
He added that in another similar study made to plan the workforce, the UAE ranked fourth as the most attractive educational destination in the world, boosted by winning the World Expo 2020, as it offers the opportunity to create more jobs in various industrial sectors.
