American actress Sarah Jessica Parker, star of the popular ‘Sex and the City’ (SATC) TV series and movie franchise, will travel to Dubai later this year to unveil her shoe and handbag, marking the city as the first market outside the US to debut the SJP Collection.
“I am thrilled to be launching the SJP Collection in our first international market, and particularly excited to be working with Harvey Nichols – Dubai and Bloomingdale’s – Dubai. This is an enormous opportunity for us to reach a whole new customer, and we’ve had a lot of fun curating a collection we feel, and hope, properly reflects and suits the Middle Eastern woman’s lifestyle. I’m so looking forward to spending time with those who have been watching and supporting our collection from afar,” Parker was quoted as saying.
