Palm Jumeirah resort launches Dubai’s first Thai long-tail boat

Anantara Resort & Spa has launched Dubai’s first Thai long-tail boat.

The resort, which is situated on the Palm Jumeirah, will be offering daily trips from its private jetty to the Dubai Marina and back.

“At Anantara we want each of our guests to leave with unique stories to tell back home. The story of the boat is a tale in itself, having made the long journey from the land of smiles. Embarking on a picturesque trip sailing through one of the most iconic areas of Dubai, aboard an authentic Thai long-tail boat is a story to share with all your friends and family,” said general manager at Anantara, Jean-Francois Laurent.

The vessel, known as a “Ruea Hang Yao” in Thai, was shipped from Thailand to the UAE.
