Palestinian Platform Helps Arab Students Find International Scholarships
As great as the encouragement is and there should be more promotion of education in Arab countries. However, for me the key line in this article is “because information about potential scholarships and programs was not readily available in ARABIC”. In my opinion the education system in the Arab world should include education in English too, that way the Arab youths themselves will become inspired to achieve anything they want in any part of the world, if their basic and fundamental education prepares them to go on to achieve academic excellence in Western countries. By doing this they are improving their own education standard first and foremost, and with time when West educated Arabs return they contribute to better education and career standards so the reliance of the West slowly fades.
