A new hub for entrepreneurs is due to launch in Abu Dhabi, after twofour54 signed an agreement with Flat6Labs and United Markets International Holding.
The incubator – named Flat6Labs Abu Dhabi – will aim to help launch more than 80 companies in the next four years, with a particular focus on digital content, e-commerce, social media and citizen journalism, media and video production, and mobile applications.
During the initial phase, the programme participants will get basic seed funding, with the possibility of getting a second round of funding from Flat6Labs Abu Dhabi or other interested parties.
The programme will use twofour54’s local expertise, combined with insights from UAE government leaders, Emirati business leaders, global technology experts, and regional investment experts.
