As part of their joint workshop series, Aerospace and Engineering services at Mubadala and Airbus Middle East held an aeronautic focused session from 16 to 18 September at Al Ittihad National Private School in Abu Dhabi . The three-day workshop is designed by The Little Engineer (TLE), in partnership with Airbus Middle East, to promote science and technology amongst the UAE’s youth.
The interactive program hosted over 75 students between the ages of 13-14 years old and will consist of four-hour modules. The workshop in Abu Dhabi introduced students to the Airbus A380 assembly, with an emphasis on the importance of robotics in the aerospace industry. The workshops explored areas including identifying aircraft parts, the assembly process, and transportation procedures. Students learned to be team players, working to reach a common goal by using their creativity and imagination to solve problems and celebrate their achievements. By channeling students’ potential through the use of modern technology and innovative thinking, the TLE workshop encouraged students to consider a career in the aerospace industry.
