The Middle East’s first Collezione Automobili Lamborghini store opened at The Dubai Mall at the weekend, only the third of its kind in the world, Gulf News reported.
The other two retail stores are based in Italy.
In addition to The Dubai Mall store, Saudi Arabia-based Abdulaziz Al Rasheed Trading is planning to open two more outlets in Abu Dhabi at Yas Mall and Marina Mall and expand further around in the region in Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries, according to Housam Aslan, managing director and founder of Abdulaziz Al Rasheed Trading.
“We started in Dubai because it’s the main destination for luxury shopping,” Aslan was quoted as saying.
“Dubai is the most prestigious location. All of the Gulf area is important for our brand awareness,” said Boris Puddu, head of Collezione Automobili Lamborghini. Collezione Automobili Lamborghini is a division of Italian car manufacturer Automobili Lamborghini.
Lamborghini also launched its first driving academy for Middle East clients at Dubai Autodrome Dubai last week.
