Middle Eastern designers join 'floating river catwalk' in Paris

Lebanese designer Rouba. G and Saudi Arabian brand Ot Kutyr Atulier will showcase their collections at a 100 metre floating catwalk on the Seine River in Paris.

The “J Autumn Fashion Show,” taking place on October 29, is a concept created by fashion show producer and model Jessica Minh Anh, who is famous for transforming iconic venues into catwalks.

To create the illusion of models walking on water, Minh Anh will turn the Seine’s glass boat into the floating catwalk. She will have guests seated facing the boat’s multi-faceted glass windows while it is moving.

As a result, the backdrop for the show will entail architectural wonders like the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Louvre, and 37 famous bridges.
