A video of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, visiting injured Emirati soldiers at Zayed Military Hospital in Abu Dhabi has gone viral.
The heart-warming video showing Shaikh Mohammad comforting a soldier with a tight embrace touched UAE nationals and expats across the country.

On Friday, September 4, 45 UAE soldiers were martyred and others were injured while taking part in a Saudi-led operation aimed at driving out Al Houthi rebels in Yemen.
In the video, the injured soldier tells Shaikh Mohammad that he had wished to see him and now his wish has been granted.
The soldier then said: “I have one request. Take off my cast and send me back to my friends in Yemen.”
The soldier’s brave words and Shaikh Mohammad’s comforting presence has caused the video to be shared multiple times among nationals and residents in the country.
