Fabergé will unveil its first ornamental egg in a century at the Doha Watch and Jewellery Exhibition on February 23rd to 28th.
The Pearl Egg was created by Fabergé in collaboration with the Al Fardan family, a pearl collector.
“I have a passion for natural pearls and it took me many years to build my current collection gathering some of the most extraordinary pearls in the world. Fabergé has a great history in making jewellery for royalty and a truly precious Fabergé Egg is a luxury treasure and the symbol of a long-gone era of opulence,” said Chairman of the Al Fardan Group, Hussain Ibrahim Al-Fardan.
The Egg embodies 139 white pearls, 3,305 diamonds, rock crystal, and mother-of-pearl set on white and yellow gold.
