Emirati designer creates ‘3D printed dress’

Supported by Not Just a Label (NJAL), Emirati designer Khulood Bint Thani has collaborated with Inter Act to create the first 3D printed dress made in Dubai.

The dress is part of a collaborative project called Urban Corp., which will be part of the Meet D3 public community event hosted by Dubai Design District (D3), according to Hauteliving.

The venture will experiment in merging design, fashion, and 3D printing technology.

All the designs will be inspired by the city of Dubai.

Bint Thani is the first Emirati national to have graduated with a Fashion degree from Esmod Paris.
