Dubai this week saw the launch of a new halal sparkling wine which has all the alcohol content removed and comes complete with 24-carat edible gold leaves.
Lootah Premium Foods launched the Lussory Gold range at an event at Bystro Dubai and the food and beverage firm claimed the non-alcoholic wine, which is made at vineyards in La Mancha in Spain, is a perfect base for sangria, bellinis and other mocktails.
“We are excited about bringing the Lussory Gold brand to Dubai, as we have experienced great demand for first-class halal champagne from our consumers and clients, wishing to offer a premier experience at weddings, birthdays or corporate event,” Tony Colley, general manager of Lootah Premium Foods, was quoted as saying by Hotelier Middle East.
