Dubai International Terminal 1 facelift under way

Dubai International Terminal 1 is undergoing a facelift, set to complete by 2015, to accommodate growing passenger traffic, Dubai Airports reveals.

For people that grew up in the city, the transformation of Dubai International has been impressive. PR manager at Dubai Airports, Ali Zaghaim, says: “Terminal 1 and Concourse C currently serve more than 100 airlines that fly into Dubai International. The single most important development connected to Terminal 1 is the construction of a new concourse, designated Concourse D, which will be accessible to passengers by an airport train. The project is on track and expected to be completed by 2015.”
