Dubai to create the world's longest graffiti scroll

Dubai is set to break its latest record-breaking record with the longest collaborative graffiti painting in the world, the official state news agency WAM reported.

The initiative was announced on Monday by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, and the art project is to celebrate the progress of UAE union.

The graffiti painting, called Rehlatna, or “Our Journey” in English, will stretch 2180 metres and the record will be set on November 29.

The project is part of preparations to celebrate the UAE’s 43rd National Day.
