Empire Studios, the first Bahrain-based professional video game studio, on Sunday announced the release of Guardians of Valor, its debut video game production on Android devices.
The mobile tower defence game spans 24 levels with four chapters and several different themes. The inspiration for the fantasy setting came from ancient Babylon and Mesopotamia, the region surrounding the team’s home country of Bahrain.
“It was a long and challenging journey to reach this wonderful achievement,” said Sheikh Ali bin Khalid Al Khalifa, CEO and co-founder of Empire Studios.
“As pioneers of the video game industry here in the kingdom, it gives us pride to launch this game and we hope that people in Bahrain , the Arabian Gulf and the world lend us their support, download the game and enjoy playing it as much as we enjoyed making it.”
