Aramex founder Fadi Ghandour will be one of the judging panellists at the annual Hult Prize in New York City, the world’s largest student competition and crowdsourcing platform for social good.
To be held on 23 September in New York City, the annual prize will be hosted by the former US president Bill Clinton, and will award $1 million in start-up capital to the best team to launch their new enterprise.
The event represents the final round of the competition which was founded in 2009 by Ahmad Ashkar, a Palestinian entrepreneur and the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Shaper 2012, and has been held in partnership with the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) and the Hult International Business School.
The competition includes regional rounds being held each spring in Boston, San Francisco, London, Dubai, and Shanghai, plus an online-only round.
