86 per cent of UAE residents happy about Dubai’s Expo 2020 win’

The Expo 2020 has garnered a lot of positivity in the past few months, both before and after the win, which has set the event’s standards high and resulted in huge expectations on a global scale. However, as with any event, there will always be mixed feedback, so YouGov, an online market research hub, and Kippreport.com conducted an online survey to determine UAE residents’ reactions to the expo win.

Regardless of how much respondents knew about the expo, because of the hype surrounding the subject, everybody felt the need to participate and find out whether Dubai won or not. With 1,022 participants, the compiled data reveals that 57 per cent found out about the victory from TV channels, followed by social media and newspapers. Evidently, 86 per cent are happy about the win, leaving four per cent with reservations and setbacks in terms of economic changes that would follow.
