Seems easy enough!

Islamic art is incredibly detailed, colorful and almost overwhelmingly filled with complicated patterns. But it’s all based on simple mathematical principles, and based on one of three assumptions: the pattern being fourfold, five-fold or six-fold. Curious to read more?
