Dubai makes the list of “25 Most Impressive Achievements” twice

CNN compiled a list of the 25 most impressive mankind engineering/construction achievements from around the world, and two of the UAE’s top creations, The Palm Jumeirah and Burj Khalifa, have made the list. The list took into consideration the period in which these developments were built and the materials that were available to the builders. Iconic landmarks that date back thousands of years, as well as modern architectural wonders, have made the list.
