Art Dubai announces ninth edition's programme and schedule

Art Dubai has announced that its ninth edition programme will feature a special focus on Latin America and the Arab World and will take place on March 18 – 21, in Madinat Jumeirah.

The Middle East’s leading international art fair will consist of 91 galleries shown across three programmes: Contemporary, Modern and Marker.

It will include artists’ books, sound projects, performance, film, drawing, painting and installation.

Art Dubai’s feature programme “Marker,” its curated programme which focuses each year on a particular theme or geography, will be curated by Luiza Teixeira de Freitas and will focus on the historical and contemporary connections between Latin America and the Arab World.

Founded in 2011, the “Marker” programme allows international art curators to focus on specific regions of the world and choose artists according to the region and theme.
