Qatar International Boat Show 2014 dates confirmed

Following the success of the inaugural edition of Qatar International Boat Show last year, organisers have announced the 2014 show will take place from November 11-15 in Lusail Marina.

Listed in the calendar of the International Boat Industry (IBI), QIBS provides a platform to preview new products, evaluate market trends, and establish long-lasting and commercially profitable partnerships.

The very first QIBS has exceeded expectations with 8,500 visitors coming to see over 60 exhibitors with 38 boats on display, including the fastest composite Maxi Open Yacht ever to be built – Overmarine Group’s Mangusta 165, which is 50 metres in length and has a top speed of 40 knots.

The show also featured a Japanese submarine, luxury water sports equipment, fishing and diving stands, nautical spare parts and navigation equipment.
