Dubai Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, announced through his Twitter and Instagram accounts the launch of Dubai360.com, a project which will showcase full 360 degree virtual tours of the emirate.
“Soon, we will launch Dubai360.com, the world’s leading immersive virtual city tour. It is a groundbreaking website that will enable you to explore Dubai from anywhere in the world,” Sheikh Hamdan, who is also chairman of Dubai Executive Council.
According to state-backed news agency WAM, the Dubai360 project will be the world’s largest and highest quality virtual city tour that exclusively uses fully interactive and immersive 360 degree panoramic photo, time lapse and video content.
The website currently features a 12 minute timelapse video of Dubai International Airport.
