The Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo has been ranked the 25th best in the world by travel site TripAdvisor.
It is the only facility in the Middle East to win one the site’s Travelers’ Choice awards for Zoos and Aquariums. A total of 275 winners were identified.
Monterey Bay Aquarium in California was named the best aquarium in the world, while Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska was named best zoo.
The awards were based on an algorithm that took into account the quantity and quality of reviews for zoos and aquariums worldwide, gathered over a 12-month period.
