The team here at Elan is very excited; 2016 marks our eighth year in publication. Over the years, you have seen us grow and develop our brand based on your feedback.

You, and the region have gone through many changes as well. Arab Spring, Saudi women voting, budding social entrepreneurs – Elan was there to cover you.

We truly believe change is good.

We’re very proud of the fact that Elan is the only news site with a strong readership in the Middle East as well as the United States, Canada and England. Our goal was to build a bridge between the regions- and we did it.

Our editorial team works hard to create a welcoming space for our readers – a place where information and trends are covered and ideas are shared and explored; and where you as our readers can express yourselves freely.

Elan wants to build on the spirit of sharing, exploring and communicating. We are pleased to announce the launch of our new concept “Elan, Your Digital Majlis.”

A majlis is a special gathering that happens in the Arab world. The core concepts of the majlis are creating a dialogue, understanding points of view other than your own and exchanging ideas; with the goals of positive change and accomplishment based on a deeper understanding of each other.

We want you to embrace Elan as your own personal, Digital Majlis. But we need you to make it work. So please, speak up! Comment, share, post memes, let your voice be heard. It’s what Elan, The Middle East and a majlis are all about.
