The 2015 New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) Annual International Hackathon for Social Good in the Arab World will be held in the UAE on April 10th, 11th and 12th.
This three-day program is a collaboration aimed at bringing together computer science students, academics and technology experts, from around the UAE, the Middle East, and the world, to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in computer science.
This event will be held at the NYU Abu Dhabi Campus. Small teams of students (5 students per team), headed by a mentor drawn from academics, professional developers, and accomplished representatives from regional and international startups, will compete by creating mobile and web application dedicated to the social good in the Arab World. On the final evening, teams will present their application before a panel of distinguished judges and guests. NYUAD cover accommodation, food, and airfare (if applicable) for all of the selected students and mentors.
