Around 100 items, which captures the history of the world and the significant role of the Middle East played within it, will soon captivate the interest of residents in the capital.
A History of the World in 100 Objects exhibition is a collaboration between the British Museum and the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority (TCA) in a series leading up to the opening of Zayed National Museum in 2016.
The items will be displayed at the upcoming art exhibition, which will take place at Manarat Al Saadiyat in Saadiyat Cultural District from April 23 until August 2 for a period of 100 days.
“It is great anticipation that we welcome some of the world’s most precious objects to Abu Dhabi for the art exhibition, which come together to illustrate a history of humanity,” Shaikh Tahnoon Al Nahyan, chairman of TCA Abu Dhabi, said.
